International Bank of Commerce (IBC) is a fully chartered bank that is headquartered in Laredo, Texas (United States). It is one of the largest banks based in Texas, and is the 98th largest U.S. bank by asset size. In addition, IBC is the largest minority-owned bank in the United States. The motto of the bank is "We Do More".

History

The International Bank of Commerce of Laredo was founded in 1966 to meet the needs of the small businesses in the city. Today, it serves as the flagship bank of International Bancshares Corporation. Since its opening, IBC has grown from less than $1 million in assets to over $10.9 billion making it one of Texas' largest banks. IBC now serves more than 90 communities throughout Texas and Oklahoma with more than 250 branches and more than 380 ATMs.

The International Bank of Commerce is a subsidiary of International Bancshares Corporation (NASDAQ: IBOC), a financial holding company based in Laredo, with over $10.9 billion in assets. It operates more than 160 financial centers across Central and South Texas. IBC also operates another 60 financial centers in Oklahoma.
