Dennis John Bennett (born October 5, 1939 in Oakland, California) is a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1962–64), Boston Red Sox (1965–67), New York Mets (1967) and California Angels (1968). He batted and threw left-handed.
In a seven-season career, Bennett posted a 43-47 record with 572 strikeouts and a 3.69 ERA in 863 innings pitched, including six shutouts and 28 complete games.[1]
Dennis' brother Dave Bennett is also a former baseball player. Dennis now owns a bar in Klamath Falls, Oregon.[citation needed]
