History
Cory Lerios got his first break into the music industry with the San Francisco Bay area band Stoneground in 1971. At the time, Stoneground was signed with Warner Bros., and Cory was only 20 years old. After leaving the band in 1973, Cory, along with fellow Stoneground members, Steve Price and David Jenkins went on to form Pablo Cruise. In 1975, Pablo Cruise released its first album under A&M Records simply entitled Pablo Cruise. The band went on to sell millions of records, but in 1986 after completing several national tours and releasing 7 albums in all, the band split.
Cory went on to score music for film and television, with his first major production being One Crazy Summer, a 1986 comedy starring John Cusack, Demi Moore, Bobcat Goldthwait, Curtis Armstrong, and Joel Murray. After his composition on One Crazy Summer, Cory partnered with John D'Andrea and went on to start an in house music production studio called Lerios D'Andrea Music Works based in Los Angeles. Together they wrote and produced a number of themes, songs, dramatic and comedic underscores for some of TV's most popular shows (Baywatch, Days of our Lives, Diagnosis: Murder, Max Headroom, and Land Before Time), amongst others.
