commons=The former Grandview Triangle (informally called The Triangle) is a
freeway interchange in south Kansas City,Missouri that was once considered one of Missouri's most congested locations. However, after several years of reconstruction, the interchange itself is largely congestion free (although the freeways approaching the interchange remain heavily travelled). Local officials held an unveiling of a green highway sign with a new ceremonial name - the 3-Trails Crossing Memorial Highway (informally called Three Trails) - onOctober 3 ,2006 . The new name refers to the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails that cross there.
