Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Maloud had a population of 7160. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Maloud has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 63%. In Maloud, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age. Many Deol, cheema and Dhillon jats are resided.
