Route description
NY 134 begins in the village of Ossining at NY 133 (near its western terminus at U.S. Route 9). It runs along Dale Avenue within the village. After leaving the village limits, the road becomes known as Croton Dam Road. It has an at-grade intersection with the Briarcliff–Peekskill Parkway (NY 9A) 1.4 miles later. After another three miles (5 km), it has a full interchange with the Taconic State Parkway, near the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Past the Taconic, the road becomes Kitchawan Road leading into the hamlet of Kitchawan. NY 134 ends at NY 100 just southeast of Kitchawan after another 1.9 miles (3.1 km).
History
The entirety of NY 134 was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York.[1]
