National Union of Labour and Socialist Clubs
- National Union of Labour and Socialist Clubs
-
The National Union of Labour and Socialist Clubs (NULSC) is the federation representing Labour Social Clubs in Great Britain, and is a socialist society affiliated to the UK Labour Party. At present a relatively small number of these clubs (approximately 50) actually affiliate to the NULSC. This is because many were already affiliated to the Working Men's Club and Institute Union (CIU). In recent years many Labour Clubs have disaffiliated from the NULSC because of disaffection of how social clubs are perceived by "New Labour". The NULSC is largely based in Lancashire, particularly in Wigan and on Merseyside.
