Middlesex County College is a community college with its main campus located in Edison, New Jersey, United States. The two-year college serves the needs of Middlesex County, as well as surrounding communities. There are two urban campuses located in New Brunswick and Perth Amboy.
The college was founded in 1964. Enrollment is about 11,800 students. Degrees conferred include the Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, Associate in Science and the Associate in Applied Science. The College offers more than 550 courses in 80 different degree and certificate programs with six specially designed transfer programs. Sixty percent of the College’s graduates pursue additional higher education, and almost all of these students transfer successfully. Matriculation agreements with many different colleges, including joint admissions programs with the New Jersey Institute of Technology and dual degree programs with Rutgers University, are available.
The college has 206 full-time and 346 part-time faculty. The student-to-faculty ratio is 21:1.
Middlesex County College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
