Career
Pintauro first appeared on the television soap opera As the World Turns as the original Paul Ryan and in the movie Cujo. He first came to prominence on the television series Who's the Boss?.[1] After the conclusion of that series, he was less frequently cast. Pintauro has since returned to the stage in roles such as that of the title character in The Velocity of Gary.
In a January 26, 2011 article on the online version of the San Diego Union-Tribune, it was revealed that Danny has taken to selling Tupperware. [2]
Personal life
Pintauro was born in Milltown, New Jersey, the son of Margaret L. (née Sillcocks) and John J. Pintauro, a manager.[3] In 1994, he took time off from professional acting and attended Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey, and later Stanford University to study English and theater. He graduated in 2001.
In 1997, in an interview with the National Enquirer tabloid, Pintauro declared that he is gay.
