Pitchfork Media (8.5/10)[2] Overloaded: The Singles Collection is a compilation album by British girl group the Sugababes. It was released by Island Records on 13 November 2006 in the United Kingdom. The main version of the album was a 15-track collection of 13 Sugababes singles and two new tracks. Other editions, which included a remixes collection, a live songs collection recorded for Napster.com and a DVD featuring the fourteen music videos that corresponded to the singles included on the album, were also released. Contrary to initial reports that vocals from departed Sugababes Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy were going to be re-recorded by Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah, all songs are presented in their original album versions (with the exception of "Red Dress").
The lead single for the greatest hits was "Easy" and was released 6 November 2006. "Easy" made its premiere on The Scott Mills Show on BBC Radio 1 on 12 September 2006. The title comes from the group's first single, "Overload."
The second single for the greatest hits, "Good To Be Gone", was expected to be released January 2007,[citation needed] but plans to release the single "Walk This Way", a collaboration with Girls Aloud for Comic Relief were announced and the release was cancelled.
Universal Music Mexico decided to release the album, as Sugababes' second release in the country (their first album, "One Touch" was released through Warner but flopped; further releases were cancelled), the Mexican edition of the album was released on December 1.[3] The Mexican edition has the same track listing as the European edition.[4]
Despite being titled "The Singles Collection", the album did not in fact include all of the Sugababes' 18 singles that had been released prior to Easy, instead featuring just 13 of the group's previous singles[5] (14 on the UK version).

- Vocals from founding Member Mutya Buena appear on the majority of the album with Amelle only featuring on three tracks "Red Dress", "Easy" and "Good to Be Gone", with "Follow Me Home" omitted.
- Other founding member Siobhán Donaghy only appears on two tracks, "Overload" and "Run for Cover", with "New Year" and "Soul Sound" omitted.
- Only the standard edition is available on physical CD; the deluxe and remix albums are download-only exclusives.
- A stand-alone Overloaded DVD was released simultaneously and features a karaoke element.
- The Overloaded: The Singles Collection Tour was completed in April 2007.
- UK-only singles "New Year", "Soul Sound", "Angels with Dirty Faces" (Double A-side with "Stronger") and "Follow Me Home" are not included on the collection due to low chart position entries. This however caused slight confusion for fans due the fact that "New Year" charted a little higher than "Run for Cover", and was not included on the release.
Setlist from tour
To coincide with their massive Top 3 greatest hits album in 2006, the Sugababes announced they would be touring throughout the UK and Ireland from March 2007. With a recent #1 number single (Walk This Way featuring Girls Aloud) and another Top 10 hit with Easy, popular demand for the live shows was outstanding.
Alongside all of the previous hits from the Siobhan and Mutya days, the girls even added in a special medley of album tracks they had wished to be singles. As well as that, they gave their own spin on Primal Scream's Rocks, and added a tinge of Nelly Furtado's Maneater to Easy.
