"She's Like a Star" is the fifth single from Taio Cruz's debut album Departure. [ [http://www.taiocruzmusic.co.uk/news/index.php?id=117 : TAIO CRUZ :... News ] ] An official remix of the song, featuring Sugababes and Busta Rhymes, appears on both the single release and as a bonus track on the Sugababes' sixth studio album, "Catfights and Spotlights". The song peaked at number twenty in the UK Singles Chart.

Music video

Controversy

Cruz's song "She's Like a Star" has sparked controversy with fellow UK soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae who has claimed that the sample Cruz uses in his song, sounds very similar to that of her own song "Like a Star". Cruz strongly refuted this statement and a musicologist has since claimed that the song does not sample Rae's voice [http://www.dailystar.co.uk/playlist/view/28960/Corinne-Bailey-Rae-scraps-with-Taio-Cruz/ Corinne Bailey-Rae scraps with Taio Cruz] ] . This is the second time Taio has been accused of plagiarism. He was first accused when he released his single I Can Be, which shares a similar sound to All Saints "Pure Shores" song.
