Office of Immigration Statistics

The Office of Immigration Statistics (OIS) is an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security under the Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Policy.

Mission

The OIS is responsible for developing, analyzing, and disseminating statistical information needed to inform policy and assess the effects of immigration in the United States. Their mission includes the collection of data regarding Border Patrol, Detention and Removal, Intelligence, Investigations, and Inspections.
