Imam
The current Imam is Qari Muhammad Zaman Qadri, who is a Hafiz and a Naat Khawan known across Europe and Pakistan. He is also a television presenter on Ummah Channel & Ghousia Tv for numerous programs
Facilities
Currently, there are two 200-person capacity buildings at the mosque; three remain under development. The mosque currenly has a main prayer hall, a daily prayer hall, a ladies prayer room, multi cultural centre, and a Quran classroom.
Events
Noor-A-Madina Mosque holds a yearly event to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. The event, celebrated across the world in every Sunni Islam and Shia Islam Mosque, is named Milad-Un-Nabi.
Noor-A-Madina Multi Cultural Centre
The Multi Cultural Centre offers many language and educational sessions such as Urdu, Polish, English, math, and Arabic to muslims and non muslims.
Community Support
Supporters of the Noor A Medina mosque are concerned after reports that a demonstration from EDL members was due to take place outside, so the community turned out in force to show their support for a mosque which has become the subject of an English Defence League campaign. Members of the Noor-A-Madina mosque on Waterloo Road were joined by the North West branch of United Against Fascism, the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Trade Union Council and Blackpool Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT).
