Amin Golestan (Born as Amin Golestan Parast, 5 June 1988 in Dubai, UAE) is a New York based DJ, record label owner, and music producer. He was voted the number one DJ in 2008 and 2009 in the Middle East and Asia, and was the featured artist on the 2010 DJ Magazine Middle East [1] cover.

Biography

Amin Golestan was born in Dubai after his family left Iran during the revolution. He grew up surrounded by international DJs on the Dubai music scene. After apprenticing for some of the world’s preeminent talent, Amin began to DJ in Dubai. Growing popularity and praise provided a platform for him to take his talents to different countries and he soon began to tour worldwide.

Amin has played in large venues in Moscow, Amsterdam, Miami, Dubai, Tokyo. He has won a number of awards, most notably winning the Palme DJ Competition and the Pioneer Asian DJ Competition in 2008, and being voted as the number one DJ in the Middle East and North Africa. He followed this success by landing the much coveted Middle East cover of DJ Magazine in February 2010.

Currently stationed in New York, he produces music releasing original and remixed tunes on some of the world’s best dance record labels such as Ultra Records, Spinnin' Records, Audio Therapy Records, Little Mountain Recordings, and Relocate Records.

He is also planning on releasing original music on his own record label and produces a popular podcast called Relocate.
