Of the only three secondary sources currently cited in this article, two make no reference to the film in question but only to a character in the film, and the third is simply a list of film titles. A search for reliable, secondary sources reveals an insufficient amount of significant coverage. This article fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines for films. Keep: This was a film released nationally in Japan and made its way stateside by means of a Sega CD video game, and it should frankly not matter that the film's protagonist is the subject of the sources in question. The fact of the matter is that some aspect of the film has appeared in reliable sources in the past 3 years, because finding sources regarding the film itself from 1993 is nigh impossible. Due to the age of the film, we must rely on the other criteria set forth by WP:MOVIE to determine the notability, and the fact that its main character is still prevalent in the Japanese media should be enough to show that the film in its original form is notable. I found reliable sources that relate to the film. fails WP:GNG. I don't see signficant third party coverage of actual relations. gnews turns up close to little. no resident ambassadors, most of relations occur in a Japan-Carribean context. Japanese foreign website refers to 5,300 million yen of investment which equates to USD70 million, this is a tiny fraction of Japan's economy. one ministerial visit in 44 years of relations says it all. LOL Libstar always cracks me up. Now if I'm to accept your figures as accurate. Firstly US$70 Million in trade for a country with a population of only a quarter million is not "significant" in terms of share of overall trade? Japan is Barbados' fourth largest trading partner. But what do I know about 'significance.' That figure is only 250x the size of Barbados' total population.

Secondly, that part about one-visit between nations again is not correct.

Comment. Yes, it could be described for each article where absolutely required. Not sure it is needed at all. Japanese are "much closer" to their medieval period than Europeans and seem to feel that all terms regarding it are unique to Japan, when many, if not most, are not unique, but in all medieval society. A few have already entered English and these are fine to use. English (not unlike Japanese) is a "language sponge." English likes new words. But it is not up to Wikipedia to introduce them. They must be in the language already. Demonstrating that it is in scholarly books, does not, for this purpose, show that it is part of the English language. Megami Magazine

Keep: It is one of the better known Japanese magazines outside Japan and one of the most accessible thanks to the high number of pull out posters per issue (most I know get it purely for the pretty pictures). Along with NewType it is one of the only monthly Japanese anime-related magazines still available through Diamond Comic Distributors (see [3]) - a few years back you could also get Animage, Animaga, Animedia, G's Magazine... Speedy delete as hoax via WP:G3. I'm not finding anything substantial and what I am finding heavily shows this being a hoax. The CEO appears to have a channel on Youtube where he appears to be a teenaged boy. [6], [7] He and his "company" left a comment on another account which seems to make me lean more towards this being a hoax. (See this account [8] on page 1 & 2.) Keep: There is an extensive page at the Japanese Wikipedia on the subject, and the Japanese title gets more coverage. These 4 different manga, 3 different video games, and 1 direct to video movie are most definitely notable. Due to the age of the subject matter and the source language, however, it is difficult to find reliable sources for it. Delete as nominator - Notability is not inherited. As Wikipedia's notability guidelines state, "there must be verifiable, objective evidence that the subject has received significant attention from independent sources to support a claim of notability." Other language Wikipedias are not valid sources and it appears that the Japanese Wikipedia's article on this subject is entirely unsourced. Isn't there some sort of leeway when a subject is 20 years old and there are no digital records regarding the notability? Keep: this is one of these cases in which we must consider, as said in the guideline, "not only any sources currently named in an article, but also the possibility of notability-indicating sources that are not currently named in the article", because "notability requires only the existence of suitable independent, reliable sources, not their immediate citation". Here, notability (and existence of reliable sources) could be easily presumed, considering its direct membership in an hightly notable franchise, an eight-year-long saga that has generated four different manga, published by notable/well-known editors and notable/well-known magazines, 14 books, 3 different video games for three different well-known video game consoles, one OAV (that passes WP:FILM for itself) animated by Toei and with music production provided by Columbia Music Entertainment, action figures, board games, trading cards and more merchandise. The quotation cited by Cavarrone above is taken out of context. The relevant guideline goes on to say "However, once an article's notability has been challenged, merely asserting that unspecified sources exist is seldom persuasive, especially if time passes and actual proof does not surface." The name of this section of the notability guidelines itself is called "Notability requires verifiable evidence". It is true, as Cavarrone states above, that notability does not require sources currently named in the article, but it does require verifiable evidence, ie. specified sources whether they are currently cited in the article or not. No one has managed to produce any such sources in this article's more-than-five-year edit history, and considering that no one is managing to produce any even when pressed to do so in this AfD, it appears highly unlikely that any such sources will ever be produced for this article. Neelix. The subject is going to be 20 years old. I know it's rare, but nothing within the past 5 years of the proliferation of the Internet has produced anything we can find to support the fact that this is notable. I didn't bother with the Kamen Rider Black manga or the Kamen Rider Eve/Masked Rider Gaia manga. However, this has eight different media forms, one of which was a notable film. It is only a stub because I removed excessive plot detail regarding the OVA. It could very well expand, to include chapter titles of the various manga, more indepth information about the various video games, and perhaps some more information about the OVA. I am still trying to figure out why you have been systematically hitting various Kamen Rider pages. While they may have not all been the best pages, you have been hitting pages that are difficult to find sources for, and should very well be determined notable by being various official offshoots of the main notable franchise.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:53, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

None of the information that you are suggesting that could expand this article is sourced in reliable, secondary sources. The Kamen Rider Series is a notable franchise, and many of the subtopics of this franchise are also notable. The notability of the franchise as a whole does not justify the creation of individual articles on the minute details of the franchise that have not garnered coverage in reliable, secondary sources. Does the fact that this page (now) covers 4 different comic book series, 3 unrelated video games, and one short film mean nothing then? This is not a minute detail. It is an aspect that cannot be adequately incorporated into any of the parent articles. And sources do indeed exist. They are just impossible to come by because it has been 20 years since the subject first came out. It is very likely that in the ancient copies of Televi-Kun, Televi Magazine, Hyper Hobby, Newtype, etc., there are articles on the SD Kamen Riders. - As a repeated comment, just because it lacks them now does not mean it completely lacks sources. They exist. They are just impossible to come by because:
  1. The subject is 20 years old, and
  2. The subject is Japanese

    - The subject is notable. It is a notable offshoot of a notable franchise. The age of the subject makes it nigh impossible to find sources online. I hope Wikipedia allows public voting - I don't have an account here but I am slightly disturbed by this site's continuous policies to delete perfectly legitimate article pages. I'm just a regular gamer, but I like to keep up to date on the grievous botch-ups you editors do on the Wikipedia game pages.

Jeremy Blaustein has worked on some major videogame franchises over the years, such as Castlevania, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Quest, and plenty of others. He has rubbed shoulders with the biggest people in the industry. Although he doesn't make games, he is responsible for these games reaching us.

This article has existed since April 2006, and the article's creator, a long-time participant of WikiProject Anime and Manga, has created more than 150 Wikipedia articles in the areas of anime and voice actors, of which this is just one.
