New Jack Swing is a song by Wreckx-N-Effect (Then called Wrecks-N-Effect. Released as a single it became number one on the Billboard Rap chart. It featured samples of The Village Callers' 1967 song "Hector" and Parliament's 1975 song "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker)" from their album Mothership Connection.

Another version of the song on the same album was called 'New Jack Swing [Hard Version]'. This song featured the sample of the song by 2Pac, California Love. This song also features Renny Jones (formerly with Parliament (band) playing bass.

The song appears in the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas video game soundtrack, on the fictitious radio station CSR 103.9.
