Most of them are described as Sites of Nature Conservation Importance instead of LNRs in Barnet's Unitary Development Plan.[2] There is further information about many of them on the London Parks & Gardens Trust's website[3], which includes 84 parks and open spaces in Barnet. Barnet has one Site of Special Scientific Importance, Brent Reservoir.
