Chronological list of events

  • 10 November 2009: The Thai Premier League 2010 season first leg fixtures were announced.
  • 19 January 2010: Muangthong appointed René Desaeyere as head coach.
  • 6 February 2010: Muangthong defeated by SAFFC 3-4 on penalties in AFC Champions League qualifying play-off, they will plays AFC Cup.
  • 22 October 2010: Muangthong are Champions of the Thai Premier League after drawing with Samut Songkhram and with one match left in the season. This is their second Thai Premier League title.
  • 24 October 2010: Muangthong United finished in 1st place in the Thai Premier League.
