The Ministry of the Interior is Pakistan's ministry of the interior. Its head office is in Islamabad.[1]

The Interior Minister of Pakistan heads the Ministry of Interior. He serves in the cabinet of the Prime Minister. The Minister is required to be a member of Parliament. During the martial regimes of Generals Ayub Khan and Yahya Khan, from 1962 till 1971, the Interior Minister was called Home Affairs Minister.

The current Interior Minister is Rehman Malik, who is also a Pakistan Peoples Party senator.
