Markovac or Marcovăţ (Serbian: Марковац or Markovac, Romanian: Marcovăţ) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, in the South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Romanian ethnic majority and its population numbering 249 people (2011 census).

12th century BC ornitho-morphic pendants were found in Markovac-Grunjac.[1]
