The entrance is directly opposite the Macquarie Park Cemetery. The station has Easy Access for wheelchairs.

History
The station opened on February 23, 2009.[1] The original, proposed name of the station was Delhi Road (named after the adjacent street). On June 12, 2006, then New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma submitted North Ryde Railway Station to the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales as the provisional official name of the station.[2]

The station is served by four trains per hour for most of the day.[3]
