The Danville Dragons are a professional indoor football team due to begin play in the Ultimate Indoor Football League for the 2011 season. The team is based in Danville, Illinois, with home games to be played at the David S. Palmer Arena.

This is Danville's second indoor football team; their first since the Danville Demolition which only played the 2007 American Indoor Football Association season before folding.

History

On July 25th, 2011, the teams announced that it is owned by David Hawkins, will be named the Dragons and their color scheme will be dark blue, light blue, green and gold.^[1][2]

On August 8th, 2011, it was announced that Jarrod Rogol would be the team's first head coach.^[3][4]
