Geography
Cory Lake Isles is surrounded by 17,000 acres (69 km2) of woodlands.[2][3] The neighborhood is part of the New Tampa district.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 169 people and 64 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 184/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 82% White, 7% African American, 0% Native American, 6% Asian, 2% from other races, and 3% were from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were about 11% of the population.
There were 64 households out of which 42% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65% were married couples living together, 6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 6% were non-families. 20% of all households were made up of individuals.
In the neighborhood the population was spread out with 30% under the age of 18, 24% from 18 to 34, 29% from 35 to 49, 13% from 50 to 64, and 6% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 92 males.
The per capita income for the neighborhood was $32,909. About 5% of the population were below the poverty line
