Satu Mare, RomaniaPolitical party Conservative Corneliu Chisu (born February 13, 1949) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 2011 election.[1] He represents the electoral district of Pickering—Scarborough East as a member of the Conservative Party.

Education
Originally from Satu Mare, Romania, Chisu graduated from Mihai Eminescu National College, a high school, in 1966. He graduated from Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1971 with a degree in engineering physics. He also graduated from the University of Toronto in 1988 with a M.Eng. in electrical engineering (electronics).
Controversy
During the 2011 election campaign, Chisu refused to appear at any all-candidates debate, sparking criticism from students, seniors, and local organisers.[2][3]
