Rodney Weston

Rodney Weston

Rodney H. Weston (March 28 1964 – ) is a businessman and former politician in New Brunswick, Canada. He represented Saint John-Fundy in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1999 to 2003 as a Progressive Conservative member.

He was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, the son of Lester and Phyllis Weston, and was educated at New Brunswick Community College. He owned and operated a gas station and also was a trucking contractor. Weston was chief of the St. Martins Volunteer Fire Department and also served as deputy mayor for St. Martins. He was Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries & Aquaculture from 2001 to 2003. He was named chief of staff for Bernard Lord. Weston is slated to run for the Conservative party in Saint John on October 14th in the Canadian Federal Election. Weston has gained a strong base of supporters since annoucing his plans to run in early Sepember.
