Chrysopolis (Greek for "city of gold") is a former settlement in Inyo County, California.^[1] It was located on the east bank of the Owens River south of Aberdeen,^[2] at an elevation of 3819 feet (1164 m).^[1]

Chrysopolis was founded in the 1860s.^[2] As the name suggests, Chrysopolis was originally a mining camp.^[2] A post office operated at Chrysopolis from 1866 to 1867.^[2]
