The Pied Plover (Vanellus cayanus), also known as the Pied Lapwing, is a species of bird in the Charadriidae family.
Distribution and habitat
It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is rivers.
