Chalk Mountain is a small unincorporated community in Erath County, Texas, United States. It lies along U.S. Route 67 near the Somervell County line, about 25 miles southwest of Glen Rose.

Bengal Kitten

Chalk Mountain is known for bengal kitten breeding, where the Chalk Mountain Bengal Kittens breeding cattery is located. Many of the kittens that are breeded and sired there usually achieve champion (or higher) status.[1][2]
