The Muzzle-Loading Associations International Committee (MLAIC) is the world governing body for competition with muzzle loading fireararms.
History
The 2008 World Championships were held 11–16 August 2008 in Adelaide, Australia.[citation needed]
The 2012 World Championships will be hosted by Germany, and the 2014 Championships by South Africa.[citation needed]
Member nations
The European Zone consists of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Russia and Ireland have applied for membership.[citation needed]
The Pacific Zone consists of Argentina, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States.[citation needed]
Correspondent nations are Brazil, Croatia, Greece, and Mexico.[citation needed]
