Banksia railway station, Sydney

Banksia is a railway station on the Illawarra line of Sydney's CityRail network. Located in the Sydney suburb of Banksia, it serves a residential area. The station exit is located on the northern end of the platforms, down the stairs to a pedestrian subway. The ticket office is also located in the subway.Access is provided west to Railway Street and east to Hattersley Street and the Princes Highway.

History

The Illawarra line to Hurstville opened in 1884. Accessibility

The station does not yet have Easy Access for wheelchairs.
