According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 364 people, 136 households, and 102 families residing in the village. The population density was 884.4 people per square mile (342.8/km2). There were 139 housing units at an average density of 337.7 per square mile (130.9/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.80% White, 0.27% African American, 0.27% from other races, and 1.65% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.55% of the population.
There were 136 households out of which 40.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.8% were married couples living together, 12.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families. 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the village the population was spread out with 33.0% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 32.1% from 25 to 44, 15.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 96.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.8 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $36,719, and the median income for a family was $41,250. Males had a median income of $31,250 versus $20,000 for females.
