Deborah Cameron (radio presenter)

Deborah Cameron (born 1958) is an Australian journalist and radio presenter based in Sydney. In January, 2008, she took over from Virginia Trioli as host of the morning program on radio 702 ABC Sydney. [1] [2]

Cameron started her career in journalism in 1982.[1] In 1985 she joined the Fairfax group, working as a correspondent in New York and Tokyo, and becoming a senior journalist for Sydney Morning Herald.[2]

Her husband is Greg Earl, Asia Pacific editor for The Australian Financial Review. They have two children, Nat, 14, and Eleanor, 10, and live in the Sydney suburb of Glebe.[2]

In November 2011, Cameron announced her contract had not been renewed and that she will be leaving 702 ABC Sydney after 4 years with the station to pursue 'fresh challenges'.
