Colony Township is one of twelve townships in Adams County, Iowa, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 222.

Geography

Colony Township covers an area of 35.65 square miles (92.3 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Bohemian National and Rose Hill. Colony Township was settled by Bohemian immigrants starting in the 1840's.
