Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all of it land. Principle streets in Delhi include County Road 9, which connects to Belview five miles to the west, and County Road 6, which connects to Minnesota State Highways 19 and 67 three miles to the south. The main east west street is Vanderburg Avenue. The city's only business is the Meadowland's grain elevator located near the railroad at the south side of town. A new handicap accessible city hall will be built in 2008 to be shared with the Township of Delhi. City sewer was installed in 2004. There are no longer any churches in the city as both the Lutheran and Presbyterian congregations reduced drastically in numbers at the end of the twentieth century.
