United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 0.2square mile s (0.4km² ), all of it land.Cambridge is located on US Route 160 at State Highway 7. The community is 45 miles southeast of Wichita.
Demographics
As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 103 people, 46 households, and 31 families residing in the city. Thepopulation density was 592.1 people per square mile (233.9/km²). There were 55 housing units at an average density of 316.2/sq mi (124.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.15% White, 0.97% African American, and 3.88% from two or more races.There were 46 households out of which 17.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.2% were married couples living together, 15.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 28.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.71.
In the city the population was spread out with 17.5% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 28.2% from 45 to 64, and 21.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 80.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 77.1 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $38,125, and the median income for a family was $53,500. Males had a median income of $25,625 versus $24,167 for females. The
