(Kerr, 1792)The Mexican Hairy Dwarf Porcupine or Mexican Tree Porcupine (Sphiggurus mexicanus) is a species of rodent in the family Erethizontidae.[2] It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, possibly Belize, and possibly Nicaragua.
