Ranzani, 1822The Australian Logrunner (Orthonyx temminckii) is a species of bird in the Orthonychidae family. It is endemic to eastern Australia. Until recently, it was widely considered conspecific with the New Guinea Logrunner, but the two differ significantly.
Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
