Moira (Greek: Μοίρα) is a Greek village located southeast of Patras. Moira had a population of 134 in 2001 for the village. Moira is also in the municipality of Patras since the late-1940s. Neo Souli is connected with the road linking Patras. From 1836 until 1940, it was part of the municipality of Panachaia. Moira is linked with road linking with Patras and Leontio.

Geography

Moira is situated in a valley area that has several settlements around. The Panachaiko mountains lies to the east, the rest of the area are hilly and are made up of farmlands. Much of the area to the east and north are forested. Its main production are fruits including watermelon, melon, figs and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and others as well as dairy, livestock, olives and others. The majority of the population are based in other businesses as well as agriculture.

The Glafkos is a few kilometres to the south.

Residential and other buildings are within the main and farm roads.

Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. It was linked with pavement in the 1980s. Most of the homes are abandoned today.

After World War II and the Greek Civil War, much of the population left for larger towns and cities especially the nearby Patras. The population decline slowed between the 1981 and the 1991 census, the population rapidly declined between the 1991 and the 2001 censuses.
