Books

Wilson has authored several books in a variety of genres:

Parody

Young Adult Fiction

Children's Bible Stories

Christian Apologetics

Wilson's 100 Cupboards trilogy, published by Yearling, is the story of Henry York, a boy who finds his way to other worlds through the cupboards in the attic of his uncle's Kansas house. Wilson's mythical milieu includes significant Arthurian influence, both from Geoffrey of Monmouth (Wilson has a character by that name) and Spencer's Faerie Queene.[3] Wilson is also admittedly influenced by Scottish fairy tales from Robert Kirk and Sir Walter Scott. Feature film rights to the trilogy have been acquired by Beloved Pictures.[4]

The first volume in another Wilson series, The Ashtown Burials, was released in August 2011. The Dragon's Tooth is the story of orphaned siblings Cyrus, Antigone, and Daniel, who become involved in a secret society after their late parents' hotel burns down. The series will comprise five novels.[5]

Film

A "bookumentary" film adaptation of Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl, narrated by Wilson, was released on DVD in 2011.[6]

Wilson is currently writing a screenplay for a film adaptation of C. S. Lewis's The Great Divorce,[7] slated for release in 2011.[8]

Other writings

Wilson's short fiction and prose have been published in Credenda/Agenda, the Chattahoochee Review, the Esquire napkin project,[9] Christianity Today, and Books & Culture.

Shroud of Turin

In 2005, Wilson announced in Books & Culture magazine that he had made a near-duplicate of the Shroud of Turin image by exposing dark linen to the sun for ten days under a sheet of glass on which a positive mask had been painted,[10][11] and in doing so, "caused some uproar in the Shroud of Turin world."[12]
