90,066 (Odakyū) passengers/day 2008Chūō-Rinkan Station (中央林間駅 Chūō-Rinkan-eki ) is an interchange railway station operated by Tokyu Corporation's Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line and the Odakyu Electric Railway's Odakyū Enoshima Line in Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is a terminus of the Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line and is 35.3 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Odakyū Enoshima Line at Shinjuku Station.

History
The station was originally opened as Chūō-Rinkantoshi Station (中央林間都市 ) on April 1, 1929 on the Odakyū Enoshima Line. On October 15, 1941 is was renamed to its present name. The Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line extended to Chūō-Rinkan Station on April 9, 1984 .
Lines
Station layout
The Odakyū portion of the station is above-ground and has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks. The central exit leads to the west end of the station building, and to transfer to the Den-en-toshi Line. There is also small, unmanned ticket gate from the north end of the west platform. The Tōkyū portion of the stations is underground, and has a single island platform serving two tracks. The ticket gate leads to the east end of the station building and transfer to the Odakyu line. The station consists of two buildings, with a very small, covered, pedestrian street in the middle.

Local transportation
- Taxis - there is a taxi stand on the square outside the east side of the station building (near the Denentoshi line ticket gate)
- Public buses - there are no public buses in Chūō-Rinkan.
- Other - the Sagami Country Club, a golf club, has a shuttle bus to the golf club, operating regularly from the Odakyū line north exit.
Shopping
- Station building - bookstore on the 2nd floor. A pharmacy and several small restaurants on the 1st floor.
- Station East exit - there is a 7-eleven to the right on the station square. Across the square, also reachable by a crosswalk from the 2nd floor, is a Tokyu super-market and department store. Other stores and an internet cafe are nearby.
- Station West exit - The Chūō-Rinkan Nishi-guchi shopping area is up the stairs and to the right, but there are no significant stores.
- Odakyū North exit - There are a cafe, a Family Mart and MosBurger just outside the exit, and an Ozeki supermarket nearby to the left after MosBurger.
