Westgarth is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Westgarth, on the Hurstbridge railway line. Westgarth is unmanned and is in Metcard Zone 1.

Facilities

Westgarth is located at the northern end of the Westgarth Street level crossing, which also provides station access.

The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (Flinders Street bound) has a large weatherboard building, while platform 2 (Hurstbridge bound) has a semi-large weatherboard building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2. A footbridge is located at the DOWN end of the station.

Tram route 86 is a short walk from the station, on High Street.

The single track section between Westgarth and Clifton Hill is currently in the process of being duplicated, which includes a new bridge over the Merri Creek, with completion expected in 2010.
