Why Do Fools Fall in Love is a 1981 album released by American singer Diana Ross on the RCA label. It stands as one of the biggest-selling albums of Diana's 50 year career. It featured back-to-back Top 10 Pop hits with the title track and the rock-edged 'Mirror Mirror'.
It was the first album she recorded without Motown, having left the label earlier that year to sign a $20 million dollar deal with RCA[citation needed]. The album was also the first to be produced by the singer, which became her second RIAA-certified platinum album. 1980's diana was her first.
