"I Love You" is Diana Ross' latest album, released in the United Kingdom and some parts of Europe on October 2nd 2006. Diana was inspired to release an album of love songs after she had been looking through a family photo album and wanted to base her next project around the greatest factor in her life: love.

Overview

"I Love You" featured a number of classic love songs such as "I Want You" (penned by Diana's late brother, Arthur T-Boy Ross), "Remember", "More Than Yesterday" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (featuring Brian May of Queen). A special edition format was also released including a DVD featuring behind the scenes footage of the album's production. The only new original song on the album is the title track.

The album was Diana's first studio album since "Every Day is a New Day" in 1999 and sold well in the United Kingdom. It was released in North America on January 16, 2007, and debuted on the "Billboard 200" as hot shot debut (#32). It's her highest charting album since "Swept Away" peaked at number 26 in 1984.Other chart positions: Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums (#16), Top Internet Albums (#31).
