The main campus is located at 1700 Spring Garden Street in a building that was the former Philadelphia Mint. When established in 1965, it was located in the mens store annex of the defunct Snellenburg's department store at 34 South 11th Street.
Community College of Philadelphia is an open-admission, Associate degree granting institution with more than 70 degree and certificate programs in the arts, business, health care, science and technology, humanities and social sciences and human services. Enrolling more than 38,000 students annually [1], the College is the largest institution of higher education in Philadelphia.
Like many community colleges, Community College of Philadelphia offers dual admissions programs and transfer agreements for transferring to a four-year college or university. The College also offers ESL courses to help international students improve their English skills. The school has study abroad opportunities to Mexico, Spain and England.

- West Regional Center - 4725 Chestnut Street in the Walnut Hill neighborhood of West Philadelphia
The system also operates for credit and non credit courses in various neighborhood sites.[1]
