Originally with one campus in Castlegar, Selkirk College now has eight campuses across the
West Kootenay region: Castlegar, Nelson (3 campuses), Trail, Nakusp, Grand Forks, and Kaslo.Castlegar campus
The main campus in Castlegar is beautifully situated at the confluence of the
Kootenay River andColumbia River , and surrounded by the Selkirk mountain range. The main building was designed by award-winning architect,Arthur Erickson .Programs
The College offers a broad range of programs, though some only offer the first two years of a four year degree. The programs range from university arts and sciences transfer,
nursing ,business ,aviation ,renewable resources ,hospitality andtourism , and the trades.tudent life
There are currently two student unions at Selkirk College. The
Selkirk Students' Association represents students at the Castlegar campus, and the Selkirk College Students' Society (Nelson) represents students at the three Nelson campuses.References
