Dean Pleasants is a heavy metal guitarist.^[1] He is currently the lead guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies, replacing Rocky George after the split up in 1997.^[1][2] He is also a member of the Suicidal Tendencies funk metal side project Infectious Grooves. He also played with Ugly Kid Joe on their America's Least Wanted album^[3] and was in the Jessica Simpson band for several years. He also played with^{[citation needed]} George Clinton, Tone Loc, Coke advertisements, Poe, Jody Whatley and Atlantic Starr.

Dean uses VHT, Fender and Marshall amps and plays Fernandes guitars.^{[citation needed]}
