single 4 date = 1991"Lights...Camera...Revolution!" is the fourth full length album (not counting the "
Controlled By Hatred/Feel Like Shit...Déjà Vu " compilation) bySuicidal Tendencies . It was released in 1990.This album shows the band straying further away from their roots as a
hardcore punk band and beginning to solidify themselves more and more as athrash metal band. At this point, it could be argued that the band had moved from "Crossover Thrash" to "Thrash Metal". The song arrangements are more complex, as are the lyrics. This was also the first Suicidal Tendencies album to display heavyfunk influences, which has a lot to do with the input of new bassistRobert Trujillo .This was the only full length album to feature the "classic" Suicidal Tendencies lineup, which many fans feel was technically the strongest lineup the band has had to date. Drummer
R.J. Herrera would leave before the release of their next album, "The Art of Rebellion ". The remaining four members of the band (with various drummers), would remain in the band from this point until their breakup in 1995 (only to reform again in 1997, sans all members but Muir and Clark).Singles off this album included "You Can't Bring Me Down", "Send Me Your Money", "Alone" & "Lovely". The video for "You Can't Bring Me Down" received lots of
MTV airplay, and was largely responsible for the success of this album. It was certified gold a few years later. It was also nominated for the "Best Metal Performance"Grammy Award in 1991, losing toMetallica 's "Stone Cold Crazy.".Track listing
