Highway 21 is a major north-south highway in the Canadian province of Alberta. It begins at the Trans-Canada Highway just east of Strathmore (60 km east of Calgary) and goes north to its terminus at Fort Saskatchewan, along the way passing through Sherwood Park, a large bedroom community of Edmonton. The highway is considered an alternate route between the Calgary area and Edmonton.

Between the junction with Highway 1 and Highway 15, it runs for total of 328km. At the northern end in Fort Saskatchewan, Highway 21 is continued westwards by Highway 37 towards Onoway, where it connects to Highway 43, and eastwards by Highway 15 towards Chipman and Yellowhead highway. The junction of the Trans-Canada and Highway 21 has been the site of a number of fatal automobile accidents in recent years, as has Highway 21's junction with Highway 9, and there have been calls for the province to construct interchanges at these two locations. At present the only section of the highway to be twinned is the short piece running from its junction with the Yellowhead Highway at Sherwood Park to its endpoint in Fort Saskatchewan. Construction is underway to continue the twinning from the Yellowhead, south past Baseline Road and Wye Road, up to the Whitemud Extension.

Highway 21 is considered a genuine Bible Belt Fact|date=August 2008 with 4 Bible Colleges and 2 large Christian Academies along its 300 km route. These are from south to north Covenant Bible College (Strathmore), Prairie Bible College and Prairie Christian Academy (Three Hills), the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute and Gardner College (Camrose) and Strathcona Christian Academy (Sherwood Park).
