Camp White Pine

Camp White Pine is a traditional residential summer camp for boys and girls aged 7 to 16, located in Haliburton, Ontario. After purchasing a fishing lodge that surrounded Lake Placid, Joseph Kronick established the camp in 1956. He placed a strong emphasis on group living, a spirit of non-competition, and by allowing campers to help plan and execute their summer activities. In 1986, Joe's son Adam assumed leadership of the camp, later to be joined by his wife Dana in 1990. The camp is notable as one of Canada's best known primarily Jewish summer camps and enjoys attendance from all parts of North America, as well as Europe and South America.
