The Post-Graduate Programme in Communications Management (PGPCM) is the flagship programme of MICA. It is a two-year residential programme for the study of integrated marketing communications management.

Executive Post Graduate Programme In Communications Management (PGPCMX)
The “Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Communications)” is for young aspirants with work experience. The PGPCMX is a 15 months, full-time, residential programme approved by AICTE.
Post Graduate Certificate Programmes
MICA offers various skills enhancement programmes from time to time. Currently, the institute offers the following programmes as part of this initiative:
Retail Communications Management This one-and-half year programme combines the disciplines of business management and marketing communications with focus on retail communications management.
Crafting Creative Communications The programme imparts copywriting and art direction skills to young graduates with a creative and imaginative bent of mind.
Visual Merchandizing MICA in association leading consultants in the retail sector, has developed a six-months’ professional programme in Visual Merchandising & Creative Communications (VMCC) for the first time in India.

Online Programmes Various online programmes are regularly conducted over newer technological mediums by the institute.

Faculty
The core faculty at MICA has been developed with members both from academic as well as professional industry backgrounds.
Additionally, MICA gets visiting faculty that comes from other institutions, and also practitioners from the advertising, marketing, marketing research, public relations and media industry. Dr. Arbind Sinha was appointed as the Dean of Academic affairs at MICA along with Dr. Pradeep Krishnatray who was appointed Dean (Research) for MICA.

The institute aims to conduct research in communication as applied to the needs of the communications industry.
Journal
Journal of Creative Communications is MICA's in-house publication. The journal publishes articles in the areas of marketing communications, communication management, mass and new media, development communication, culture studies, and organizational communications.
Entrepreneurship Development Centre
The Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) encourages entrepreneurial initiatives amongst students. Participating students gain insights into aspects like factors taken into account while structuring a business deal, charging fees and maintaining profitability.

Healthy 6 was developed as a personalised health solution initiative by Ruchir Joshi’s .Healthy 6 focuses on promoting healthy food and customised health regime.This initiative is invented by Ruchir Joshi with logistic support from Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA). He has hit upon a unique idea to cash in on roadside healthy eating.

Other activities
MCSA
MCSA stands for MICA Council for Student Affairs. It is the student body that supervises various student-run committees in the institute and is responsible for taking up various issues of interest to students with the college administration.
Placement Committee
The Placement Committee looks after the job of securing summer internships and final placements for students in the fields of marketing and marketing communications.
MICANVAS Micanvas is MICA's annual brand management festival. It is usually held in October and hosts more than 20 events with a number of formal events alongside informal audience games, exhibitions and workshops. The first MICANVAS was held in 2002 with the intention of making it a platform to showcase MICA and its talent to industry and the B-School community at large.
CultComm
The Cultural Community of MICA organizes the celebrations of various festivals and other occasions at MICA. It is also responsible for conducting OORJA, the cultural festival at MICA. The festival provides a platform for the students to showcase their creative talents and commences with the annual Dandiya Night.
MICA Communications Review
MICA Communications Review (MCR) is a student managed marketing and communications research publication published tri-annually by MICA.
Team Interface
Team Interface is the student managed PR cell of MICA. It brings to the public eye various activities at MICA through a variety of media.
CompComm
The Computer Committee organizes various online events in-house for MICA.
LitComm
The Literary Committee organizes various literary oriented events at MICA
Black Coffee
The in-house magazine that is designed, edited and printed for circulation by students in-house.
Sankalp
This is the in-house theatre production, where every activity associated with staging a play, from acting to direction to sounds to lights, to set design to music and marketing and managing the event is carried out by students.
SCAM
The Sports Committee At MICA (SCAM) organizes sports events on and off campus.
Trinetra
Trinetra is the movie club at MICA that screens movies in an attempt to study cinema as a powerful tool of communication.
